Keeper
Alphonse Areola (West Ham): His team might have been six behind at Bournemouth but for him. Massive moment, stepped up and demonstrated real class. Excellent keeping to earn them a 2-2 draw. Losing would have damaged their entire term.
Defenders
Daniel Munoz (Crystal Palace): He's in the running for player of the season. Many discuss Arsenal's squad. He's been the standout player without doubt.
Murillo (Nottingham Forest): It would take a mad supporter to say 'Murillo will score and we'll beat Liverpool 3-0 at Anfield'. You'd have got massive odds on that. He performed brilliantly. He's becoming a powerhouse. He proves to be a tough opponent. Pleased to see him playing similar to before.
Malick Thiaw (Newcastle): I observed him a few times earlier in Italy for AC Milan and he struggled due to errors. But at Newcastle he's impressed greatly. He displays really strong and powerful and seems polished. It looks like he has discovered a spiritual home.
Ferdi Kadioglu (Brighton): Not usually a left-back, rather a attacking-minded going forward. He's been a great purchase for Brighton. Who would be surprised at them finding another gem out of nowhere? I thought after selling Pervis Estupinan it raised eyebrows but the Seagulls understand more than us.
Central players
Sander Berge (Fulham) and Elliot Anderson (Nottingham Forest): Two of the same type and they make it for the shared purpose. Their teams won, all discuss the scorers, but lacking these players the squads falter. They are so good. They disrupt opposition, they support going forward.
Eberechi Eze (Arsenal): The current star. Numerous supporters, including my son, were questioning if he could be the man to lead them to success. Three strikes in the key match and now they want to erect a monument of him. Scoring, calmness, he controlled the game. The top performer on the pitch.
Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa): Possibly the only thing that I agree with Thomas Tuchel on - he has got to a point now where it is very difficult to bench him. I didn't think his beginning was strong this campaign, In my opinion he acted with some expectation and hoped he might secure a transfer to Chelsea, and probably wanted that, but he appears to have settled down. Two great goals obviously against Leeds helped his club from a deficit. He made the impact.
Strikers
Callum Wilson (West Ham): I said he seemed lacking his normal self. He looked like his pace had gone. Yet amazing. Words fail me. He shone. Phenomenal in his approach and in his dual goals.
Harvey Barnes (Newcastle): A particularly intriguing player. He excels, typically sharper as a substitute, but due to Gordon's absence so he must start. He squandered a key opening against Manchester City at 0-0 with his easiest shot. Yet possessing the inner resilience to place himself into difficult situations and get a brace was great.
Coach
Sean Dyche (Nottingham Forest): He comes in and outperforms Arne Slot. A superb tactical approach. It might have been five or six for Forest and few would dispute.
