The Initial Xbox Game Pass Titles of 2026 Show Xbox Remains Committed.

Across the gaming landscape, enthusiasts continue to ring the funeral bells for Microsoft's gaming division. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a platform few have heard of. Platform-specific outlets have started writing on PS5 topics for the first time. Last year proved to be a period of total upheaval for Xbox and Microsoft. But if we're going solely off what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it is apparent that Microsoft continues to plan to draw people in with compelling titles on its flagship service.

The Available Now Titles

A pair of titles that are immediately available as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, are not the headliners. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass in the coming weeks that's truly noteworthy.

Significant Forthcoming Releases

Starting January 13th, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, an open-world game that breaks up conventional open-world tropes with a space-faring criminal escapade. An additional significant inclusion is Resident Evil Village with its iconic tall vampire, previously described as "a superb mixture of terror and combat."

Intriguing Niche Additions

Yet, the less-hyped additions set to join the catalog deserve recognition. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, a fantastic but under-the-radar dungeon crawler that is incredibly fun, becomes available next week — and it merits a playthrough whether or not you experienced the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year might get its hooks in you in about 15 minutes flat.

Atomfall, a survival title with stealth elements by the makers of Sniper Elite, is also a game to check out. Ultimate tier members also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Solid, Curated Lineup

In summary, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they don't represent first-party juggernauts that validate the subscription in the first place. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. It offers a healthy blend of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they deserved the first time around — which makes them excellent choices to find a new audience on Game Pass.

Hope you're ready to part ways with The Grinch Christmas Adventures, as it happens.
